CassCo offers beneficial pond bacteria in pre-measured water soluble packets, for easy dosing. This product has been designed for use in lakes, koi ponds, water garden ponds, aquaculture ponds & aquariums. The 8 oz water-soluble packets are ideal for larger ponds & lakes, and the 1 oz packets are ideal for smaller koi ponds & water garden ponds:
8 oz Water-Soluble Packets:
Our 8 oz water-soluble packets contain beneficial pond bacteria and powdered barley straw. This 2-in-1 formulation eliminates the need for unsightly bales of barley straw, barley straw pellets, and loose barley straw.
1 oz Water-Soluble Packets:
Our 1 oz water-soluble packets are available in 2 formulations. The first is a blend of pond bacteria in a dissolvable “no mess powder". The second is a "2-in-1 formulation", containing pond bacteria and barley straw powder.
BENEFITS:
Nutrient Reduction:
This formulation will eliminate toxic ammonia & nitrite, as well as excess problem-causing nutrients such as nitrate & phosphate from pond water.
Eliminates Bottom Sludge (Muck):
The formulation will also eliminate bottom sludge (the accumulation of decaying plants, grass clippings, leaves, fish wastes, and other organic waste materials).
Odor Control:
This formulation will also provide odor control by eliminating the build-up of dead and decaying organic wastes, which are the source of these odors.
Eliminates Murky Water:
Water clarity is accomplished as the pond bacteria in these blocks eliminate dead and decaying organic wastes, which accumulate as suspended solids, causing murkiness in the pond water. As these organic wastes are removed, water clarity drastically increases (from virtually no clarity, up to 6+ foot depth of clarity in just weeks).
DOSING:
Koi Ponds & Water Gardens:
Apply 1 (1 oz.) packet per 1000 gallons of water every 1-2 weeks.
Large Ponds & Lakes:
Apply 6-8 (8 oz.) packets per surface acre of water every 1-2 weeks.
